Adani Group helps with India COVID-19

As India’s COVID-19 situation worsens Bravus Mining & Resources parent company, Adani Group, is working to help secure medical oxygen supplies for hospitals that are at maximum capacity.

Adani has worked with other countries to import cryogenic tanks and liquid oxygen through its Port in Mundra, Gujarat and with the support of the Indian Air Force.

As India’s largest private port operator, the Group has used its business connections to secure supplies from Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Dubai including:

  • Four cryogenic tanks with 80 tonnes of liquid oxygen and 5,000 medical-grade oxygen cylinders from Saudi Arabia.
  • Seven cryogenic tanks from Thailand.
  • 12 ready-to-use cryogenic tanks to transport liquid oxygen from Dubai.

Adani Group is one of India’s leading corporates with more than 17,000 employees across the globe.

Through the Adani Foundation, the Group has been involved in combatting the country’s COVID-19 crisis since the beginning. This includes providing relief through financial aid, sanitizing public places, providing healthcare support and protective equipment, donating food and supporting community kitchens.
